Our Story — Peoria, IL | Est. 2017
In 2017, Ms. Shenneca Williams and Mrs. Courtney Mason shared one vision — give the youth of Peoria a real home. A place where a young dancer could walk in with a passion for dance and walk out knowing exactly who they are.
They didn't just build a dance program. They built a family. One that holds you accountable, pushes you past what you thought you could do, celebrates every breakthrough, and refuses to let you settle for less than your best.
Eight years later, Royal Family 309 has grown from a local vision into a national award-winning, world-invited dance team. We train in Majorette, Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom, and Lyrical — competing and winning at the highest levels in the country. Our dancers don't just perform — they dominate. And they do it representing Peoria, representing 309, and representing each other.
